A cynical fairy tale about the commodification of the female body in times of late capitalism: Equipped with a bag full of gold, a webcam and various magic tricks, Frida Giulia Franceschini tells the story of a lonely heroine who becomes the object of her own desire and tries to turn herself into money. In celebrating stage magic and erotic self-portrayal she simultaneously reveals their techniques and secrets.
FRIDA GIULIA FRANCESCHINI studied fine arts in Bologna as well as contemporary dance at the Rotterdam Dance Academy and the S.E.A.D. Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance.
